Community Grants

The Hart Rotary Community Grant Scheme

We welcome applications to fund individual and group projects/activities in accordance with the following criteria:

• The project/activity shall benefit those living within the Hart District Council area - see map. Excluding Hook & Odiham, for which enquiries should be made to Odiham & Hook Rotary.

• Projects/activities are non-political.

• The award would ideally benefit more than one person.

• Awards are likely to make a significant difference to the project/activity in question.

• The project/activity can be implemented effectively.

• If requested, the applicant will be able to provide suitable independent references, e.g. Council or Citizens Advice.

• If requested, the applicant will be able to provide supporting financial statements.

• Our aim is to support the most needy and worthy causes.

• We don't usually make grants for the same cause on an ongoing, regular basis, e.g. via annual contributions.

• We’d like to understand if there would be any publicity in recognition of our contribution.

• Mustard Seed Autism Trust – parent counselling service.

• Citizens Advice additional laptops

• Fleet & Yateley food banks.

• Men’s Sheds (Church Crookham & Fleet) – laptop.

• Student bursary to attend outward bound course. 

• Come and Cook @ St John’s Church, Hartley Wintney.

• Hawley Primary School - playground markings.

• St John Ambulance, CPR training equipment.

• Local Friendship Group.

• Hart Community Garden - Cold Frames.

• Retirement Home - Garden Party.

• Victoria Hall, Hartley Wintney - Literary Week.

• Operation Back to School – support with School Uniform.

• Support towards young people’s expeditions.

• Personal hardship applications.

• Hut and Wendy House for Dogmersfield Primary School.

• 2026 Rotary Christmas Toy Box Appeal.
