For many years, we've held a Christmas party in the Victoria Hall, Hartley Wintney, for Senior Citizens residing in our area. This is usually held the last Sunday afternoon of November or the first Sunday afternoon of December.
Senior Citizens are drawn from local residential homes as well as others who live independently in the community. The typical attendance is around 100 guests.
Minibuses pick up party guests from their residential homes, and we use our own cars to transport the other party guests as required.
The party runs from 2 pm to 5 pm and is hosted by an MC (usually a volunteer from the Club). Local performers provide entertainment and there's usually a Bingo session and a raffle.
Refreshments are prepared and served by us.
All costs are covered by the Rotary Club of Hart Trust Fund and attendance is free.
