Whether you have mental health issues yourself, or you are a worried parent or carer, knowing where you can find help and who to turn to is vital.
Organising this event has opened our eyes as to just how many charities and organisations there are in our community who are doing great work when it comes to mental health. This event was designed to get as many of those organisations as we could under one roof, so they could tell us who they are and what they can offer to this very vulnerable age group, who are increasingly suffering with their mental health.
Representatives of these organisations were available to talk to visitors and hand out information. Speakers addressed different types of mental health issues and held a Mindfulness session.

This event brought together support organisations with carers and those in need to build networks. We intend to use our app to act as a future source of information and guidance for Hart - visit our website on https://hartbeat.hart-rotary.org/home for more information.
